Hanna May Walkinshaw is a 20-year-old student at the University of Nevada Reno. She is a journalism minor continuing her studies in the cute little town of Viterbo, Italy. Viterbo gives Hanna an opportunity to step out of her comfort zone and study in a place that challenges her. She is inspired with the endless impactful conversations she has with locals despite the language barrier. She finds it important to create emotional and personal relationships with the people she encounters. Living in an Italian town without the high levels of tourism has given Hanna a new perspective about taking opportunities and living in the moment. She explains her blog to be a “tiny window into a life that is different from your own.”
